How to create a company page on LinkedIn in under 5 minutes

Every so often I will receive a connection request on LinkedIn from a company. LinkedIn offers a feature similar to Google+ and Facebook to allow users to create a page for their company. You can feature products and post news updates.

Here are 4 easy steps to set up your LinkedIn company page in under 5 minutes.

1. Select “Companies” from the “Interests” menu.

2. On the next page, click “Add a Company” in the top right.

3. On the following screen, type in the company name and your company email address, then click on “Continue”. You may need to make sure your company email address is listed in your personal profile first to ensure you can become an administrator.

4. Fill out all the company details on the following page, then press publish.

That’s it!

The one downside to a company page is that while you can post as your company, you can’t interact with other posts on LinkedIn as your company.
