Down the left hand side of the page will be a list of tabs. Click on “Account”. It might already be selected.

3. Enter a new username

Look for the “Username” field at the top of the page. Type in a new username.

If you enter a username already in use, Twitter will tell you before you save your changes.

If you enter a username that isn’t in use, Twitter will tell you it’s available.

4. Click “Save changes”

All that’s left now is for you to save your changes by clicking on the blue button at the bottom of the screen.
