George Bondzie Afful, 66, Umuchichi Ward, Aba Nigeria Stake, called as president of the Accra Ghana Temple, succeeding President Julian P. Breillatt. President Afful’s wife, Victoria Beatrice Dampson Afful, will serve as temple matron. The recorder of the Aba Nigeria Temple, he also serves as a sealer and high priest group assistant. He has served as a patriarch, temple president’s counselor, district president, bishop and high councilor. A former recorder at the Accra Ghana Temple and a regional manager for temporal affairs, he was born in Apam, Central Region, Ghana, to Agyanka Crosby and Helen Bosua Botchey Afful.
