In 16 months, I raised this client’s Facebook reach 357%

Earlier this month, a client of mine—for whom I had been managing their company Facebook page—contacted me to let me know that they had hired a full-service marketing agency. Social media management was part of the comprehensive marketing package the firm sold them, so they wouldn’t need my services anymore.

I was putting together an end-of-contract report on the work I had done for this client over the last 16 months, and I thought I’d share some of it with all of you.

  • During the last 16 months, average post reach was 192. During the 16 months before I took over, average post reach was only 42. That’s a 357% increase in post reach.
  • During the same period, there were 32 posts with a reach of over 100 people; 20 of them were ones I posted.
  • During the same period, likes increased from 889 to 1234, a 39% increase in page likes. Of those 345 new page likes, only 125 were from paid promotions.

I put in less than hour per week to manage this social media account (using only organic growth strategies), and this was the result of that effort.
