This December marks 15 years that I’ve been blogging. I’ve learned a few tricks along the way to generate traffic and create awareness of old content. Here is one particular trick I like to use that works particularly well on blogs with a lot of content.

Why you should drop “currently” from your writing

One thing I specialize in is whittling down wordiness. You could argue that wordiness is even a pet peeve of mine. A popular wordiness culprit is the use of the word “currently” (and its cousins “now” and “presently”).

I was meeting with a prospective client recently, and she asked me what “RT” meant in reference to Twitter. It prompted the idea to create a post on common abbreviations used on Twitter.
